"The Ballad of Typhoid Mary"

Half of her life she didn't know
People died, she was the foe
For years she worked as a cook
Infected food, so lives she took

Typhoid Mary
Nice but scary
Never got ill
Was infectious still
She didn't know
No symptoms were shown
But people died
Ate what she fried

So she was put under quarantine
For several years she had not be seen
When she died bacteria were still alive
In her gall bladder they did thrive
